Together We Raised $1,500 for Local Children’s Charities This September
At Spectrum Plumbing, community isn’t just something we talk about—it’s at the heart of everything we do.
This past September, with the incredible support of our customers, neighbors, and followers, we proudly donated $750 each to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and Merry Heart Children’s Camp.

Giving Back to the Community We Serve in the Willamette Valley
As a family-owned plumbing company serving Woodburn, Salem, Keizer, Albany, and the greater Willamette Valley, we believe in strengthening the community we work and live in.
We’re not just here to fix leaky faucets or install new water heaters—we’re here to make a positive difference for families across Oregon.
Why We Chose These Charities
A Personal Connection to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital
This cause is especially close to our hearts.
Our middle child, Holden, was diagnosed at his 20-week ultrasound with a severe congenital heart defect called Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV).
At just 10 weeks old, Holden underwent his first open-heart surgery, followed by a second emergency surgery the very next day.
Around 20 months old, he faced his third open-heart surgery.
Today, Holden’s doctors continue to monitor his heart health every six months, and another surgery lies ahead in the near future.
Throughout every surgery, hospital stay, and follow-up visit, the doctors and nurses at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital have provided outstanding care, expertise, and compassion—not just to Holden, but to our entire family during incredibly trying times.
That is why giving back to Doernbecher means so much to us. They give hope and healing to families like ours every day.

Why We Support Merry Heart Children’s Camp
Children with congenital heart defects often live with physical restrictions that can make them feel left out of the activities many kids take for granted.
Merry Heart Children’s Camp offers those children a place where they can gather, connect with peers who understand their experiences, and enjoy the simple joys of childhood without worrying about their restrictions.
For kids like Holden, Merry Heart provides not just fun but also friendship, belonging, and a chance to feel like every other kid at camp. Supporting this organization helps us give back to a community that understands and uplifts families facing similar challenges.

How Spectrum Plumbing Customers Helped Us Make a Difference
Throughout September, we set aside a portion of proceeds from plumbing services—including drain cleaning, water heater replacements, and bathroom upgrades—to support these causes.
Thanks to your trust in our local plumbing services, we reached our goal and raised a combined $1,500.
Every drain cleared, every leak repaired, and every water heater installed during the campaign contributed to this effort.
Together, we showed that choosing a local plumber in Woodburn and the Willamette Valley can directly benefit families in need.
A Heartfelt Thank-You to Our Neighbors
We are so grateful to everyone who called Spectrum Plumbing this September. Your decision to hire a licensed, local plumber who stands for honest work and fair pricing made this donation possible.
When you choose Spectrum Plumbing, you’re supporting more than just high-quality plumbing services—you’re helping us continue to give back to our community.
